A brief Bio from Lachlan

I’ve been fencing since 2008 when I picked up fencing as a school sport. I started by fencing foil for 3 years

and then began training at the UTS Fencing Club. From there my coach, Jeff Gray, and I agreed that I should switch to Epee to see how that would work out. In my first year I represented Australia at the Cadet and Junior Asian championships, and in the year following I represented Australia in the Junior Commonwealth games. My favourite moment in my fencing was being a part of the NSW Junior Men’s epee “B” team where the team ended up winning the national teams championship by knocking out the NSW “A” team. In the future I intend to continue with my fencing as much as possible and aim for an Australian representation at the Commonwealth games.
